Odd Fellows Lodge undertakes – AED, CPR & First Aid Training
On Saturday, September 19th 2026, members of our Odd Fellows Lodge gathered for a valuable AED, CPR, and First Aid training session. The class equipped participants with practical, life-saving skills that strengthen both our Lodge and the wider community we serve.
Being prepared to respond in an emergency is one of the most meaningful ways we can support the public. Knowing how to use an AED, perform CPR, and deliver basic first aid means that if someone nearby is in distress, our members are ready and able to help. This training adds real capability and confidence to our Lodge — talent that can make a genuine difference when seconds count.
We are proud that our members took the time to gain these skills. It reflects the Odd Fellows commitment to community care and mutual support. Having trained members among us is a quiet but powerful reassurance: when help is needed, we are better prepared to step forward.
“Thank you to everyone who attended and this is exactly the kind of practical, community-minded work that strengthens both our Lodge and the community we serve.” — Noble Grand Sheehan – Organizer of the Training.
The Odd Fellows new found talents, acquired through this training, will allow us to show up for the community in an additional role.
