Odd Fellows Honor Fallen Heroes by Placing Flags Throughout Town Ahead of Memorial Day 2026

Members of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows St Helena Lodge, put up flags throughout the town today in preparation for Memorial Day.

Lodge Members gathered at the Lodge early while most people were still asleep to raise the American flags honoring the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation. The flag placements and the early morning ceremony served as a meaningful tribute, symbolizing respect, gratitude, and the community’s enduring commitment to liberty and patriotism.

Guided by their core principles, the Odd Fellows demonstrated Friendship through the strong bonds of camaraderie among members as they worked together, showed Love through their compassionate service to the community, and upheld Truth through their dedication to honesty, integrity, and justice.

These foundational values of Friendship, Love, and Truth inspired the group’s efforts to honor the fallen and support the town’s Memorial Day observances.
